As an Official Toronto World Cup 2026 Host City Supporter, we were invited to see the World Cup Trophy up close. Members of the Humber’s Varsity Men’s and Women’s soccer teams joined in for a memorable moment as the excitement builds up.

Heading to Humber North Campus this weekend? Just a heads up, there’s a planned hydro service interruption on Sunday, May 24. Campus and all services will be closed during this time, with regular operations back the next day.

Humber students showed up strong at the 2026 Skills Ontario Competition, bringing home five gold, six silver, and four bronze medals across coding, cybersecurity, photography, renewable energies, skilled trades, and more.

Huge shoutout to all the students who competed and represented Humber on the provincial stage 👏

Humber’s Office of Sustainability brought the community together through the Pop-Up Free Store. The event redistributed 1,546 pounds of donated goods to new owners and gave students access to what they need, all while supporting sustainability across campus.

Opportunities like this bring learning to life, giving students the chance to collaborate, think creatively and work alongside industry.

At Humber, sustainability shows up through initiatives like Project SWITCH, which improves energy efficiency across campus buildings, and the institution’s goal of reaching Net Zero emissions in 2029.

Students also play a key role through the Sustainability Ambassadors program, helping promote environmental awareness and sustainable habits in the campus community. Programs like Friendlier, which offers reusable takeout containers across campus, are also helping reduce single-use packaging in everyday student life.

Humber also offers a free online course, An Introduction to Climate Action for anyone interested in learning more about climate challenges and solutions.

Why throw it out when we can fix it? ♻️

The Humber community gathered at North Campus for the second annual Repair Cafe last March where volunteer fixers lent their skills and creativity to give broken items a second life and save them from the landfill.

Thanks to the collaboration between the Office of Sustainability, the Library, Idea Lab and Repair Cafe Toronto for making this happen.

April is National Woodworking Month, so this feels extra right. 👀🪚

Preparing the next generation of pharmacy professionals.

Humber Polytechnic brought together Pharmacy Technician students from 14 institutions to help bridge the gap in pre-licensing education.

The Intraprofessional Pharmacy Education Day focused on fostering collaboration before students enter professional practice, providing a space to connect with industry partners and potential employers, deepen understanding of each role, and prepare students for collaborative, patient-focused care.
