Our Alumni Ambassadors play a meaningful role in connecting alumni, students, and the broader university community through engagement, connection, and shared experiences. Most importantly, they’re helping keep the GH community connected.

Meet Tanvi Soi (Business Administration ’17) 💼
Tanvi is a Senior Project Leader in People & Culture at Canada Packers.
Her career journey has taken her from audit and tax at Deloitte to project management, communications, and the food manufacturing industry.
As an Alumni Ambassador, Tanvi is passionate about sharing her experiences and encouraging others to stay open to unexpected paths. She believes the most rewarding careers are rarely linear and that growth often comes from stepping outside your comfort zone.
Meet Heather Holly (Early Childhood Studies ‘22) 🧩
Heather is an Early Interventionist with York Region, bringing over 20 years of expertise in early learning, inclusive programming, and family advocacy.
She also holds diplomas in Early Childhood Education and Resource Teaching from Centennial College.
Heather infuses her practice with creativity, dynamic energy, and an enthusiastic leadership style that builds strong, cooperative relationships with families, childcare agencies, and community partners.
Meet Frank Ficco (Justice and Public Safety ’25) 🚓
Frank is a law enforcement officer with 20 years of policing experience including prisoner transport and court security, general uniform patrol, and forensic identification.
He currently serves as a Technical Collision Investigator with the Collision Reconstruction Unit and holds degrees in Forensic Identification and Police Studies.
As an Alumni Ambassador, Frank is committed to supporting current and future students, sharing his experiences, and strengthening connections between alumni and the next gene
