Westminster Classical Christian Academy

WCCA is a Classical Christian school for students in Junior Kindergarten - Grade 8. Website: www.westminsterclassical.ca

Westminster Classical Christian Academy encompasses both Christian and Classical education in its approach to teaching. We are not a Classical school that happens to be supported by a Christian community; rather, we are purposeful and intentional in our methodology and pedagogy as we view all disciplines through the Christian worldview and incorporate God’s Word and adoration for God in each class at every age level. We seek to partner with parents in educating our students to the highest standards of the classical tradition so that they may grow in knowledge, wisdom, and the love of the Lord, using their gifts to serve God and others. We are Christian

- All of our students, from our Junior Kindergarteners to Eighth Graders, will be encouraged to explore, learn, and worship God through their studies and in their lives.

- Our faculty, staff, and board members will provide modeling and mentoring to our students, setting an example of biblical Christian living and encouraging our students in their walks with God through personal discipleship.

- All subjects will be taught from a biblical worldview, under the authority of the Bible, and no academic discipline will be seen as separate or distinct from God’s intentional design for His Creation. We are Classical

- All students will be encouraged and given the tools to develop a deep love for lifelong learning. This will be accomplished through the Classical model which organizes students into the grammar, logic, and rhetoric stages.

- We are not a school strictly for the academically gifted. Rather, we view each student as having a number of talents to contribute to our school community and the model of education we utilize will develop our students’ academic, creative, and physical abilities. We believe all of our students are capable of excellence.
