ABOUT YouthGEN: Youth Grow and Engage Network (YouthGEN) is a program hosted by ARTSIDEOUT that aims to provide accessible arts programming for emerging young artists in Scarborough and mentorship opportunities with senior undergraduate students and professionals in the arts. At the end of the program, participants are invited to work alongside the ARTSIDEOUT executive team in planning an event within the ARTSIDEOUT festival on October 4th 2018. YouthGEN is a Cultural Hotspot SPARK project in partnership with the City of Toronto.
PROGRAM ELIGIBILITY:
• Youth between Grade 9 - 1st year of undergraduate studies (entering 2nd year)
• Must show interest in the arts and/or working in the arts

Its true, Temple Grandin is amazing at telling it like it is and didn't hold back when letting parents at Leading Edge Seminars Autism Ontario conference know how she feels about gaining independence. I was happy to be there today. The best takeaway for me was her "30 second wow" advice; show your work! Show off your relevant and amazing work and it doesn't matter how "weird" you are. I am looking forward to presenting tomorrow; "From Digital Consumer to Digital Creator".
