ILR Car Control School

Our full fleet of vehicles are in use today.

We had a great day today working with a great group from ESA.

Spending the weekend at the BIG Drive Festival at Mosport where we have our ILR Car Control School booth set up and I got to sit in a McLaren M8D race car.... a bit of a childhood dream come true. What a tight fit! Not much room for your legs or to move your feet!

We held our annual Exotic Car Ride Charity event yesterday in support of the James Fund (Neuroblastoma) at the Hospital for Sick Kids at the CAA Centre in Brampton. The weather forecast was for rain all day and sadly that kept some of the cars and donors away but we did have some Porsches, Sam's Viper and our Z06 there to give some exciting rides around our autoslalom track. We raised over $2500 so far with more donations to come in. We had a blast driving people around even though the crowd was smaller than usual. Big thanks to Sam B. for organizing the day and bringing out his Viper and to Albert and his friends with their beautiful and fast Porsches. Thanks also to the ILR instructors who volunteered their time to work the event.

We were invited to set up down at the Yorkville Exotic Car Show today to promote our Car Control courses and our upcoming Exotic Car Ride Charity Event on Saturday, June 22nd at the CAA Centre in Brampton. The crowd was huge with an estimated 250,000 people attending. It was packed all day long. This car show was to raise funds for the fight against Melanoma. We displayed our Z06 Vette and Anand's Ferrari F355 GTS. If I had a dollar for every photo taken of the cars...... What an amazing car show. It was exhausting but worth it.

The race car is loaded and we're on the way to Mosport for the first race weekend of the CASC GT Championship. Hopefully we've fixed all the mechanical woes we had last year and we can finish well.

We ran our first Track School & Lapping Day on Saturday at Mosport DDT. We had a great group of students. Mother Nature rained on us but we all still had a great time. Thank you to all the instructors for a job well done and to Mark S. and Roman for doing some "shake down" runs on my race car to get it ready for next weekends' GT Championship races at CTMP.

Today we were in Brampton working with a couple of our government clients.

Another full day of winter driver training here in Minden. Are your staff properly trained?
