For many men and boys, the pressure to “be strong” can make asking for help feel like the hardest step.
In Canada, men die by su***de at nearly three times the rate of women and are less likely to seek support, often not reaching care until a crisis point.
Join CAMH Foundation for a free 1-hour virtual webinar on men’s mental health, featuring CAMH expert Dr. Omair Husain. This candid session includes a live anonymous Q&A and explores how mental health shows up for men and boys across the lifespan—and what better support can look like.
You’ll also receive the webinar recording after.
Hear from a CAMH expert and learn:
- Why men are less likely to seek help, and what gets in the way
- How mental health can present differently from boyhood to older age
- How depression, anxiety, and substance use may show up in men
- How to start conversations when you’re worried about someone
- What effective, evidence-based care looks like
Whether you’re a man, a parent, a partner, or someone who cares—this conversation is for you.
