Join the Mount Dennis Fun Run Club, supercoffee, Toronto Transit Commission, and ATU Local 113 on Sunday October 4th, 2026 at 9:00am for their first ever Super Run!

Run or walk 6.3 km from supercoffee Mount Dennis (1148 Weston Rd.) to supercoffee's new location on Davenport Rd. (1085 Davenport Rd.).

The run begins at 9:00am sharp from Caplan's Appliances parking lot just south of supercoffee.

*A TTC Shuttle bus will depart from supercoffee Davenport at 8:00am to bring participants from the Davenport community up to the starting point and return after the run for those looking to return to supercoffee Mount Dennis.*

The registration fee is $20.00 per person, with all proceeds going directly to the United Way of Greater Toronto and the Mount Dennis Community Land Trust. Donations are also being accepted and greatly appreciated. Sign ups accepted on the day of the event, but please come early.

The Mount Dennis Community Land Trust (MDCLT) is a newly founded and incorporated Community Land Trust (CLT) formed in response to the community-driven and Toronto City Council funded and supported Mount Dennis For All Summit and subsequent Mount Dennis For All Action Plan. The MDCLT's mandate is to address the challenges of rapid transit-oriented growth head-on and ensure affordable, equitable, and sustainable housing opportunities for Mount Dennis residents.

This week, across Ontario, students and staff will participate in reflection and learning on the truth, calls to action and commitments to Reconciliation.

On Wednesday, we will wear orange shirts to honour Indigenous children who were forced to residential schools and to assimilate, and we will remember the children who never came home.

While we have this important week and day each year to intentionally pause, mourn and reflect on the impact of residential schools, it's the work that happens throughout the year that shows a commitment to reconciliation, decentring whiteness, and to sharing space and power.
