Posted on behalf of the Program Manager – CNIB Lake Joe.
My name is Maria and I am the Program Manager for CNIB Lake Joe – we are an accessible summer camp that supports those who are blind or partially sighted.
We are currently hiring for our 2023 summer season. Many of our staff are currently enrolled in health, biomedical or general science programs in university. Working at camp has allowed them to interact with diverse populations, develop communication skills and explore more avenues for career development. I am hoping that you can share the following information regarding employment with your students so that they have a chance to explore these great opportunities and learn more about accessibility.
Here is a link to all of the positions that we are currently hiring for, including lifeguard counsellors, program coordinators, program heads and camp counsellors: https://www.cnib.ca/en/employment-opportunities-cnib-lake-joe?region=on
For most of these positions, staff members would live on site and the contracts dates are from May/June-September, making it an ideal summer job!
If you have questions, don’t hesitate to contact me at [email protected]. I truly believe that this is the best summer job in the world and am excited to share this opportunity with others.
