The Centre for Indigenous Studies is an academic department at the University of Toronto. Indigenous Studies offers Specialist, Major and Minor programs.

The Centre for Indigenous Studies (CIS) is a hub for teaching, research and community collaborations. CIS offers opportunities for the University and wider community to learn about Indigenous issues and to engage in research within the Indigenous Studies Program. The Indigenous Studies Program is an interdisciplinary Undergraduate program dedicated to the study and research of Indigenous peoples in Canada and throughout the world.
