Hi guys, I’m Yoyo! I love WiCS and everything we do to bring more girls and non-binary students into CS. Come hang out, network, build your career, meet some cool people, and join us in making CS a more welcoming space for everyone!
I joined WiCS because I wanted to help build community for gender minorities in computer science, especially through fun events!
i love cafe hopping, shopping and milk tea! i joined WiCS because of the great community and fun events :)
Hi, I’m Jean! I study Bioinformatics and Computer Science, and I joined WiCS to help strengthen women’s representation in tech and build a supportive community where we feel encouraged to pursue our interests. I’m excited to bring people together through social and academic events, and help more women feel a sense of belonging in CS!
Hi! My name is Alisa, and this is my second year as Director of Internal Relations and my third year with WiCS. I’m currently a fourth-year student pursuing a CS major with minors in Economics and Statistics. I joined WiCS to help create a more welcoming and inclusive community within UofT CS for women and non-binary students, while also providing opportunities both within the university and beyond!
Hi! My name is Annika and I’m a 3rd year Math Specialist and Stats Major at UofT Scarborough. Joining WiCS has given me the opportunity to help create an equitable and welcoming environment for women in STEM (this is also my third year serving in the WiCS Internal Outreach team)! Outside of WiCS, some cool stuff I’m currently involved in are quantum computing research at the IQC, yoga+taekwondo, and reading fantasy or crime thrillers.
For the community! I was able to meet so many like-minded women in my program and make new friends.
I joined WiCS as a web developer last year for a sense of community in CS, I’m excited to meet more people and work on more projects this year!
Hi!! I’m Colleen and I’m your Director of Marketing this year! I joined WiCS to meet a bunch of like-minded and awesome people, looking forward to meeting many more this year 🙂↕️
