Now a staple in our workshop, we use the Carvera Air 4-Axis CNC machine generously provided by our sponsor Makera (> .official) non-stop.
See it precisely cut our steel into the vital components our Payload and Control Systems subteams need.
We've been using the CNC to attemp components for:
1. Control Systems Bay: Houses flight computers
2. Payload Bay: Carries and protects our new AI Cargo, Camera, and GPS

Big weekend for us at MetRocketry 🚀
We were excited to travel to Penn Yan, NY, where 11 of our team members earned High Power Rocketry certifications with the Upstate Research Rocketry Group (URRG) during their annual Muckfest event. Eleven team members achieved their Level 1 certification, while others attempted and earned their Level 2 certification!

URRG is a non-profit organization dedicated to the educational and research aspects of amateur rocketry, and we’re incredibly grateful for their support, hospitality, and expertise throughout the weekend. Thank you, URRG!

MetRocketry was thrilled to be a part of the outreach event hosted by the Mechatronic Course Union which brought students from the Tech University of Korea this January. Students from programs such as Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Design Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering, and Game Engineering visited various TMU design teams throughout their Two Week Capstone Project!
