Toronto has been increasingly recognized as a center of innovation. In a recent study by Startup Genome, which collects data about “entrepreneurial ecosystems,” Toronto is ranked the fourth best place in the world to launch a new tech company. The study finds one of the clearest indicators of a start-up’s success was the ability to which the start-up team could learn, and meld that information into their business structure. Learning and collaborating is the essence of Learn Toronto. Learn Toronto isn’t just another online event management tool. It is a curation tool to ensure the events, facilitators and organizers, all fit within the vision of connecting people from different disciplines and skill levels to learning resources. This is a community-driven initiative and our mandate will always be to service our communities and in helping the startup and tech community grow.
