On September 30, MLI Education Group will join communities across Canada in recognizing Orange Shirt Day and the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

We invite all students, staff, and families to wear orange in honour of Residential School Survivors, in memory of the children who never returned home, and in recognition of the lasting impacts of residential schools on First Nations, Inuit, and Métis communities.

Together, we wear orange to remember, to learn, and to reaffirm that Every Child Matters.

MLI Homestay is looking for a caring, safe, and welcoming host family in Peterborough for a student from Spain who will be attending I.E. Weldon Secondary School starting in late August.
This is a wonderful opportunity to:
✨ Share Canadian culture and family life
✨ Create a meaningful international connection
✨ Support a student’s educational journey
✨ Receive monthly compensation
We are seeking a family that can provide:

✔️ Nutritious meals
✔️ A supportive and friendly home environment

Spring break, but make it memorable ❄️💙

Sudbury has been absolutely covered in snow from this latest storm—and while the snowfall has been significant, so has the spirit of our students and host families!

From building snowmen and having epic snowball fights, to cozy movie nights and warm cups of hot chocolate, everyone is finding their own way to make the most of a true Canadian (spring?) winter experience 🇨🇦✨

For many of our students, this is their first time seeing snow like this, and what better place to experience it than in a welcoming home, surrounded by care, laughter, and a little snowy magic ☃️

Moments like these are what homestay is all about. Turning unexpected weather into unforgettable memories ❤️
