Last Saturday three students on our baseball team were invited watch a Blue Jays game from the TD Zone! It was special to hear our students and school bring honoured on the JumboTron for National Indigenous People's Day. Go Kapapamahchakwew! Chi miigwetch to the Jays Care Foundation for this very special experience!!!!

Today Parent Council made lunch for the staff to say thank you for all of the work they do throughout the year. We had a great turnout and everyone left with smiles on their faces.

We started a baseball team! The highlight was definitely the playoff tournament at Rogers Center! Our season ended with 1 win, 2 ties and 4 losses and a great experience playing on a professional field! Chi Miigwetch to Jays Care for this amazing opportunity and to Ryan from Toronto Council Fire for supporting our new team! Go Kapapamahchakwew school!
