We need your help! We are trying to fix up and rebuild our studio but can only do minimal changes with the funds we have. For example, our piano is on its last legs, Meri's clarinets need adjustments and repairs, the studio needs a deep cleaning, and we need various other items. US and CDN dollar donations accepted. Studio gift certificates are on sale now, in any denomination desired, starting from $25! This year proceeds will benefit the son of a high school friend who otherwise could not afford private lessons for books, and materials (you know who you are) as well as repairs and upgrade to a better piano and more, as our current piano is on its last legs which the tuning isn't holding. Long and McQuade and Remenyi house of Music gift cards are especially welcome too, as they are two of the main places I use, although cash/cheques/Paypal/directly into bank account (BMO) are more than welcome.Aiming for a goal of 15 certificates sold and/or at least $500 raised. Will still be at the clarinet day at UT this Sunday but due to unforseen circumstances will not be able to sell our various music and clarinet products. Health issues and pain and other costs especially printing would work out to way more expense than physical and financial resources due in part to several delayed payments and some not at all. Even though very conservative estimates at affordable prices still mean a significant profit and two or three of what we need are kind of beyond budget as it turns out new laptop does not have a CD DVD burner!
