Our learners took a trip to north York Central Library today to learn about Toronto’s library system and all of the free resources they have for everyone.
Adult Education at Bob Rumball Centre Toronto
Literacy and Basic Skills (LBS) , Language Instruction for Newcomers to Canada (LINC) and Employment Services for the Deaf. We offer three programs:
1.
The Bob Rumball Centre for the Deaf’s Adult Education Department offers a positive learning environment which assists with the academic, social and emotional development of each Deaf, deafened and hard of hearing learner. Literacy and Basic Skills (LBS)
2. Language Instruction for Newcomers to Canada (LINC):
3. Employment Services for the Deaf. All Programs are free of charge. This Employment Ontario program is funded by
the Government of Ontario.

Our learners had the privilege of learning about the History of Table Tennis and the Canadian Deaf Olympic Table Tennis Team from athlete Gary Malkowski!
What a fun and informative experience!
