Final drop offs of Marketplace items is welcome in the font entryway on Monday, June 15 (especially good for anything that doesn't sell in this Saturday's DECA yard sales!)

Hello!! Marketplace donations are being accepted today and tomorrow (June 9 & 10) by the back portable between 8:30-9:30 am and 3-5:30 pm

Marketplace donation can be dropped off on June 9 & 10 at 8:30-9:30 am and 3-5:30 pm! Join us at the portable behind the school and donate your items on our YES list. Also - pro-tip: "Party in a Jars" are a great way to collect loot bag trinkets and McDonald's toys to send them along to their next destination!

All the money raised from Fun Fair helps us organize fun and supportive events and initiatives for our Secord community!

Secord's Annual Fun Fair is happening on Thursday, June 18 from 5-8 pm. We'll have games, prizes, BBQ, bake sale, bouncy castles, plant sale, and marketplace!

Our next School Council meeting is Tuesday, May 27 at 6 pm. Food, childcare, and interpreters are provided. The meeting will be held in person in the library as well as virtually. Please RSVP to share your plans to attend, any accommodations you may need, and to receive the virtual link.

Come join Secord’s Black Family Wellness Night! All are welcome to join - Thursday, May 21, 5:30-7:30. There will be lots of activities: hair braiding, Steel Pan, an author reading, games, art, basketball, dancing, Afro Beat making, food, stress ball making, and a photo fun wall!

Come join us for a mending night on May 4 from 6-8! Learn how to mend holes and cover stains with visible mending - no sewing experience needed.

Bring a piece of clothing, a rubber band, and a magnet to hold your needle. We'll have everything else.

Childcare, tea, and cookies will be provided (if you need childcare, please RSVP (link in comments) so we can prepare. Hosted by Secord School Council with help from Double Take's Upcycling Studio.
