As a new group on campus as of Sept 2014, EIMC at UofT strives to grow and promote the ideas of Exercise is Medicine Canada within the student community and beyond. Exercise is Medicine Canada (EIMC) provides national leadership in promoting physical activity as a chronic disease prevention and management strategy to improve the health of Canadians. EIMC is a movement to make Canadians healthier.

The Rehabilitation Sciences Institute is hosting a Speaker Series event on Monday April 25th from 12:00- 1:00 pm, titled: Technological Advancements in Rehabilitation: Creating Engaging Technologies Across the Lifespan. Join Dr. Elaine Biddiss and Dr. Arlene Astell as they recount their exciting research endeavours in creating meaningful technologies for children with disabilities and dementia patients. We want to share with you this amazing learning opportunity for students from and The Inclusive Recreation Certificate Program is a series designed to teach students, camp counsellors, coaches, teachers, recreation staff and anyone interested in learning about how to foster inclusion in sport and recreational physical activity settings for individuals with different abilities.
