The mandate of the Gledhill School Council is to enrich our children's education by active parental participation and financial support. It is our goal to promote and build upon a positive, co-operative relationship amongst administration, community, staff, students and parents. Gledhill’s School Council provides parents with an opportunity to get involved and a have their voice heard. Gledhill School Council plays an active role in supporting student success by providing insight and support to the school principal, organizing fundraising events and providing workshops for parent engagement. This committed group of parents works together to provide enrichment opportunities such as Scientists in the School, a Drama program and special performances throughout the year. The annual Family Fest event in the spring brings the Gledhill community together. Parents in the Gledhill school community also volunteer to support student learning on field trips, in the classroom and through their involvement in school clubs and activities such as EcoTigers, "Right to Play" and the Breakfast Program.
