New academic event just dropped! National Cultural Influences on the Expression of Extremist Beliefs In the United States.
Join and this Friday for an academic event on extremism and anti-immigration belief systems in US student groups. Sociology PhD Student Kayla Peston will deliver a presentation based on ethnographic fieldwork.

Professor Jones teaches AMS200: Introduction to American Studies and HIS374: Mass Incarceration in the US. From the mines of South Africa to the industrial frontiers of the US, his talk will discuss how engineering became a tool of empire across the continents.
