February was an incredibly busy month for our Elementary students - Black History month, Valentine's Day, Chinese New year and last but not the least, Montessori Education week. Our students were very busy choosing work that were based on these themes. Here's a snapshot.

Today, our students honoured Remembrance Day by writing letters from the perspective of soldiers in the trenches, reaching out to their families back home.

Throughout the month of June, our school community came together to honour and celebrate the rich cultures, traditions, and contributions of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples across Canada.

Students engaged in meaningful learning experiences that deepened their understanding of Indigenous culture. Through stories, art, discussions, and classroom activities, we reflected on the importance of truth, respect, and reconciliation.

We are proud of the curiosity, compassion, and open-mindedness our students brought to this important learning. As a school, we remain committed to continuing this journey of awareness beyond the month of June.

WE ARE NOW OPEN FOR FALL REGISTRATIONS FOR GRADES 1 TO 7

September is exciting and fun and a lot of work. There is nothing to match the energy of the teachers that embark on their mission to have THE perfect classroom year after year. The shopping, the endless hours of shifting materials and furniture, the mass piles of brightly coloured construction paper cut into several shapes, the non-stop discussions on what could be done better this time around, who should be seated next to whom, how do we co-teach in a large elementary classroom. And then there is coffee - lots of it and thank goodness for that.
The first day was fantastic as the children enjoyed exploring their new classroom set up - new books, agendas, new friends and old friends.

Happy Canada Day, everyone! We are so blessed to be Canadians. This country has not only welcomed millions of people but has also given so much in return. There is much work to be done. However we can proudly say that we live in the best country in the world.
