Last Monday we celebrated our Grade 8 Graduation Dinner! 🎓✨
This year’s graduating class showed incredible generosity by gifting the school a beautiful wooden podium that will be used at countless future events — a meaningful legacy that will stay with Northmount for years to come.
Thank you to all our students for making this evening so special.
As we celebrate the end of this chapter at Northmount, we cherish the memories each of you leaves with us.

Last week our Grade 8 students enjoyed their unforgettable graduation trip! 🎓✨
They spent the week adventuring through Tree Top Trekking, exploring the Canoe Museum, relaxing on the Lift‑Lock Cruise, and of course enjoying the famous Kawartha Dairy ice cream.
They also continued the beloved tradition of Mr. Yeow’s “Yeow-Cow” dinner — always a highlight!
The boys wrapped up their House Games for today and continued working on their graduation speeches, which they presented beautifully at last night’s celebration.
They truly had an amazing week filled with memories, teamwork, and fun.
A huge thank‑you to Mr. Kurek and Mr. Yeow for another incredibly successful graduation trip!

Last Thursday, Mr. Aiden stepped into the role of Head of School for the Day! 🎉
He welcomed students at the gate alongside Mr. Ruch and Mr. Kovacs, and led our school assembly.
As part of his special day, he declared a dress‑down day for everyone — a fun treat the whole school enjoyed!

Last week we took our boys to U10 Soccer Tournament, Tier 1 & Tier 2 âš˝
The boys had an amazing time, played with heart, and enjoyed every moment of the experience.

Our SSAF Elementary Boys Outdoor Soccer Team played an exciting tournament on May 19, 2026! ⚽🔥
The boys showed great teamwork, determination, and sportsmanship throughout every match.
The team made it through the round robin stages, qualifying for the Quarterfinals.
However, they ultimately fell 0–3 to Everest Academy.
Highlights of the Day included:
Strong leadership from Team Captain Wilson,
outstanding goalkeeping by Alvin, fearless defending from Benny, and some terrific goals from Leo, Wilson, and Yuchen.

This past Tuesday, we had the special opportunity to pray the Rosary in honour of Mary during her month of May. 💙✨
It was a meaningful moment of faith and reflection for our students and staff.
The Rosary Apostolate joined us for this beautiful celebration dedicated to Mary.
