NEW COURSE ANNOUNCEMENT:
Professor Célia Romulus will be offering a new ISLT course in Winter 2022. It will be offered on Thursdays from 3-6pm.

The course encourages students to critically think about memory and memorialization as political constructs and sites of struggle. This course explores how race and gender offer epistemological and ontological positions to investigate conceptualizations of power in the production of memory in a globalized world.

Le professeur Célia Romulus proposera un nouveau cours ISLT à l'hiver 2022. Il sera proposé le jeudi de 15h à 18h.

Le cours encourage les étudiants à réfléchir de manière critique sur la mémoire et la commémoration en tant que constructions politiques et sites de lutte. Ce cours explore comment la race et le sexe offrent des positions épistémologiques et ontologiques pour enquêter sur les conceptualisations du pouvoir dans la production de la mémoire dans un monde globalisé.
