Hey Ya'll! BWBB is currently recruiting for its 2018/2019 executive team! We strive to empower black women and create a safe space for ourselves on campus. We hope you'll consider joining us!

Nomination starts May 9th and ends May 12th - You'll be required to fill out a nomination for your desired role(s) and attend the election meeting - Here is the link to the nomination package:

Election will take place on Monday May 14th at 6pm - It will be located in the Tubman Institute (3rd floor of York Lanes).

Tomorrow! We’re inviting all Black femmes to come on out to our first Let’s Chat of the semester! We’ll be discussing a whole bunch of topics that are relevant to our community! Hope to see you there!

Hey all! On Thursday, October 19th we'll be hosting a writing workshop. The goal is to share writing skills and tips that are required for new post-secondary students to succeed in their classes. With a brief overview from Keys for Writers by Ann Raimes & Sarah Norton, this workshop will take a structural approach to essay writing. It will also incorporate activities to help with bibliographic structures & citations. Additional tips will be used to help navigate York University's Scott Library website to show how to research scholarly articles.
