The Canadian Council of Muslim Women extends our heartfelt wishes to you and your loved ones for a blessed and joyous Eid al-Adha.

Eid al-Adha is a sacred reminder of faith, sacrifice, compassion, and our deep commitment to serving one another with sincerity and care. As communities gather in prayer and celebration, we reflect on the values that unite us: generosity, resilience, justice, and mercy.

May this Eid bring peace to your homes, healing to those who are struggling, and hope to communities around the world facing hardship and injustice. We pray that Allah (SWT) accepts the ibadah and sacrifices of all those performing Hajj and honours the prayers and intentions of our entire community.

Eid Mubarak from all of us at CCMW. May your days be filled with blessings, love, and togetherness.

Join CCMW’s Healing & Wisdom Circles, a reflective community space rooted in storytelling, connection, and collective care. Building on the work initiated by Dr. Samar Zebian, this next chapter invites participants to share lived experiences and explore weekly themes through guided conversation.

Grounded in the rich tradition of storytelling within Muslim communities, this circle honours lived experiences as vital sources of knowledge and understanding. Together, we create space to challenge narrow definitions of “valid” knowledge and reconnect with our stories as powerful tools for healing, awareness, and belonging.

This session will be facilitated by Maryam Faisal, Case Manager and Psychotherapist at CCMW’s Muslim Women’s Legal and Community Support Clinic.
