Through BAM Children's Entertainment, the school age children enjoyed a fabulous live entertainment show today!

"My Mom the Superhero."

This performance thoughtfully celebrated the many different kinds of families in our community, including those led by a single parent or guardian, helping children appreciate the strength, love, and support that families provide in all their unique forms. Our children were entertained, engaged, and left with important messages about kindness.

What a special few weeks it’s been! ❤️

Our children have been busy creating heartfelt Father’s Day crafts, working hard over the past two weeks to make something extra special for the dads and father figures in their lives. We also proudly celebrated our Preschool and Kindergarten Graduations with photos, music, certificates, and lots of smiles!

We hope everyone enjoyed a wonderful Father’s Day weekend. As we welcome summer, we’re excited and ready for a season filled with fun, laughter, learning, and new adventures! ☀️🎉🌻

This week, we set up a special coffee and treat station in honour of Mother’s Day to celebrate the incredible families who are such a meaningful part of our Vradenburg Child Care Centre community. 💐☕️

We are so grateful for the love, support, and trust our families share with us each day. Wishing all the amazing mothers and caregivers a beautiful Mother’s Day filled with love and appreciation. 💕

Little nest upon the ground,
Softest spot that we have found,
Tiny bunnies tucked in tight,
Sleeping quietly out of sight.

We will watch and we will wait,
Give them time to grow up great,
Soon they’ll hop and bounce away,
On a sunny springtime day 🐰🌷

March Break fun is in full swing at the centre and the energy is amazing! 🎉

Our school age group has been diving into some seriously challenging STEM activities, putting their problem-solving skills to the test with hands-on building, experimenting, and creative thinking. Future engineers in the making! 🔬⚙️

Meanwhile, our kindergarten children are having a fantastic time with a Sesame Street themed week, filled with laughter, learning, and familiar friends that make every activity extra exciting. From storytelling to themed games, the children are loving every minute!

Across the programs, we’ve been busy exploring science experiments, baking projects, and lots of gross motor fun in the gym, keeping minds active and bodies moving. Of course, no March Break would be complete without plenty of smiles, teamwork, and unforgettable moments.

We can’t wait to see what the rest of the week brings! ⭐

Thanks to the wonderful contributions of our parent volunteers, our children continue to learn traditions related to special occasions. Family engagement related to the Lunar New Year brought Korean traditions, stories, and a festive spirit for our children in the kindergarten program.

Presentations like these enrich our program by promoting cultural awareness, curiosity, and respect for diversity, while also fostering community connections between families and our childcare centre. A heartfelt thank you to all our parents who make such a meaningful difference—your time, energy, and creativity truly enhance our students’ learning experiences.
