With a new academic year approaching, it's time to elect your 2026-2027 MBPGSA Executive Committee! This is an opportunity to have a lead role in the operations and activities concerning MBP student life. To submit a self-nomination for an elected position, please fill out this nomination form [https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdM7PZL2kqiWAovSvWhMFsiFwNk0Ff9uecXmsOYqUOhH5XaJw/viewform?usp=publish-editor] by Sunday, August 23 at 11:59 PM.

The election period will take place over the month of August. Election results will be announced to the department at the end of August.

Committees are invited to submit 1–2 slides introducing their group to incoming First Year students and other interested attendees at the MBP Retreat on September 19 at 2:00 PM. Each committee will have a maximum of 2 minutes to present.

Please submit your slide(s) by September 17 at 11:59 PM to guarantee inclusion. Further details for how to submit the slides are included in the MBPGSA newsletter sent out August 10. Submissions received after the deadline may not be included.

When submitting, please indicate who will present on behalf of your committee. If no representative will be attending the retreat, include a short blurb that can be read alongside your slide. Follow up if you do not receive a confirmation email.

For inspiration, feel free to refer to your committee’s slides from last year or connect with other committees.

Is donating blood something you’ve always wanted to do, but just can’t quite find the time? Well, the MBP Community Outreach Team is here to help with 🩸Blood Drive Day🩸!

We have reserved group donation appointments that for you or anyone else you may know who may be looking to donate blood.

When: Tuesday, June 23th from 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM (SO TOMORROW!)
Individual appointments can be booked throughout the day.
The whole process will only take about an hour!

Where: 67 College Street.
Why: Because it saves lives and because we can! 💪🩸

The MBP Women in Science Initiative invites you all to the Workshop: "Decoding your Cycle: Our Hormones and Menstrual Cycle", where you will have the opportunity to connect with inspiring women and learn more about the menstrual cycle to take control of your hormonal health!

This year, we’re diving into body literacy, from understanding conditions like endometriosis, PCOS, and PMS to exploring how exercise and proper nutrition can make a real difference.

Hey MBP! The Mental health and wellness and Social committees are excited to announce our next event, the first ever MBP Puppy Yoga event! 🐶

Private event at the beautiful Puppy Therapy studio just for MBP students. Come join us for a relaxing session of guided yoga with puppies! 75 minutes of cuteness overload with playful paw pals. 🐕

Try puppy yoga 50% off! (MBP is subsidizing yay!) Each student must e-transfer MBP 25$ to secure their spot. Send e-transfer to [email protected] and upload screenshot in registration form.
