Doing some summer reading: opera. Happened upon the Bregenz Festival, Austria, with a fantastical outdoor stage on open water of Lake Constance. Wow! I'd love to go and see anything on this stage. https://bregenzerfestspiele.com/en

Last night of lessons! To literally kick off the end of the year, my last student kicked their flip flop in the air..... and it landed on the roof. Passersby came to save the day but the flip flop then fell into the eavestrough. My calling in life, as a tall, long-armed person, is to retrieve things up high. Flip flopped saved. Summer has begun. Ahhhhhh.

Recital day! For months and months we work, just to play for a few minutes. I can't say "good luck" to my students because I know luck has nothing to do with how well they play. Good work!
