I have exciting news! I have secured a second studio space in the east end for my own practice plus teen and adult workshops, private events, and ceramics on the weekends starting this fall. I can’t wait to share more details very soon. This past week I have been busy polishing up the terrazzo floors, painting the door and windows, ordering a fancy new sign and organizing the space. My daughter Claire designed my new logo 💛

What a wonderfully creative and productive last day of art camp. Thank you to all of our fabulous students this week, my amazing friend and team teacher Amy, and to Stella, who is a natural with kids and art! We are all looking forward to seeing you back at The Art Room this summer. I will spend the next few months setting up a personal studio space (with a kiln!), moving into a brand new home with my partner Joe, and preparing for summer camps. I’ll keep you posted! 🎉🥰

We were inspired by the beautiful paintings of yesterday. ✨✨We painted with thinned acrylics and then used the super popular, excitement-inducing POSCA paint pens overtop for details. This project was such a hit!
