Alumni Spotlight: Josh Hill ✨

From MTM Animation student to Lead Animator at SPA Studios in Madrid.

Josh has always had a deep love for traditional hand-drawn animation. During his time at MTM, he spoke about the importance of life drawing, line of action, silhouette, story, and classical animation skills, all of which continue to shape strong animation work across mediums.

While still in Year 4, Josh was already animating professionally on a production. Now, he’s building the kind of career he once dreamed about as a first-year student watching the Klaus teaser and thinking, “that’s where I want to work.”

We’re so proud of you, Josh!
