Comparison is one of the fastest ways to steal your peace. 🥷🏼✌🏼
But there’s something you may be forgetting…

You look at someone else’s life and think:
“Why am I not where they are?”

But you’re comparing your journey to theirs.
And Allah may not write the same story twice.

Your timeline isn’t their timeline.
Your tests aren’t necessarily their tests.

And your blessings...
aren’t meant to look like theirs.

Allah, in His perfect wisdom, gives each person...
what they need, when it is best for them.

So why measure your life against someone else’s?

Stop comparing your chapter one to someone else’s chapter ten.

Focus on your journey.
Trust Allah. Stay patient. Keep striving.

What’s meant for you will never miss you.
And what misses you...
was never meant for you.

Trust Allah’s (azwjl) timing, and let your heart find peace in His perfect decree.

Do you turn to Allah only when you need him?

A question that humbled one of Islam’s greatest scholars…
and it should humble us too. 🤲🏼

Sufyān al-Thawrī رحمه الله once expressed a fear:
“Have I only turned to Allah when I needed Him?”

Let that question sink in.

If a scholar of his calibre worried about his sincerity…
what about us?

Do we remember Allah only when...
life becomes difficult?

When you’re hurting, desperate, or afraid...
you turn to Allah.

But what happens when everything is going well?
Do you still turn to Him?

True love for Allah isn’t only shown in hardship.
It’s remembering Him in ease and difficulty.

Worship isn’t an emergency button.
It’s a lifelong connection with your Creator.

Ask yourself honestly:
Do I turn to Allah only because I need something…
or because I truly love Him?

May Allah (azwjl) make us people who remember Him in every season of life. Āmīn.

❤️🪨 If your heart still feels heavy…
after every distraction,
maybe you’re searching in the wrong place. 🪧

When life gets overwhelming, we look for an escape.
Sleep.
Scroll.
Entertainment.

Anything to make the pain disappear...

But distractions don’t heal the heart.
They only give you somewhere else to look...
while the heaviness remains.

So where does real peace come from?
Not from escaping life.

From returning to Allah (azwjl).

The farther we drift from Allah (azwjl), the heavier the heart becomes.

But the closer we draw to Him...
the more tranquillity we find.

Sometimes one sincere sujūd can bring a peace that years of distraction couldn’t.

“So flee to Allah.”
- Qur’an 51:50

This world was never meant to completely satisfy your heart.

When the heart feels heavy, don’t just distract yourself. Return to your Lord.

Imagine looking back one day…
and realizing your biggest obstacle was never other people.
It was your fear of them. 😥

You thought everyone was watching.
Judging your choices.
Noticing your mistakes.

But the truth?

Most people are busy living their own lives.

And while you were worried about their opinions...
you were holding yourself back.

From speaking up.
Trying something new.
Pursuing what matters to you.

Don’t let an imaginary audience rob you of your potential.

If something is good and permissible...
and your intention is sincere,
why let someone’s opinion stop you?

As Muslims, our ultimate goal isn’t people’s approval.

It’s Allah’s pleasure.

So stop asking:
“What will they think?”

Start asking:
“Is Allah pleased with this?”

You don’t need everyone’s approval to move forward.
Use the abilities and opportunities Allah (azwjl) has blessed you with.

Take the next step. Trust Allah. Don’t let fear decide your future.

I believe in you!

💔 Holding onto sadness

The longer you hold onto sadness…
the more pain you create for yourself. 🤕

Ibn al-Jawzi رحمه الله gave a powerful reminder about loss.

When something is taken from you, dwelling on it...
doesn’t bring it back.

It only adds a second hardship to the first.

You already experienced the loss.
Why keep allowing your mind to relive it?

If Allah takes something away,
occupy yourself with something beneficial.
Don’t give your grief more fuel by constantly feeding it.

And what if the relief hasn’t come yet?
Keep striving.

With patience and trust in Allah (azwjl), the heart can gradually heal.

Pain doesn’t last forever.

Allah can replace what was lost with something better...
or grant you a comfort that makes the loss easier to carry.

Keep going. Keep trusting Allah (azwjl).

🤲🏼 What if the blessing you’re complaining about…
is someone else’s greatest duʿā?

It’s easy to notice what you don’t have.
You see someone with more and wonder:
“Why did Allah bless them… but not me?”

But pause for a moment.

Look at what Allah has already given you.
Because something you barely notice...
may be something someone else desperately prays for.

Some people in hospitals would give anything to:
walk. Breathe on their own. Go home.
And some labourers exhaust themselves every day...
just to feed their families.

The blessings you overlook may be someone else’s duʿā.

So instead of counting everything that’s missing...
start counting Allah’s (azwjl) countless favours.

Gratitude changes your perspective.
You may discover that you’re already far richer than you thought.

Alḥamdulillāh for the blessings we notice...
and the ones we don’t.

⚔️ They trust Allah to deliver justice.

Someone wronged you.
And part of you wants them to feel the same pain they caused you.

But what if revenge isn’t strength?

Real strength is controlling what happens next.
You can chase revenge...
or you can leave justice to the One who sees everything.

Allah saw it all.
Every word.
Every action.
Every injustice you experienced.
Nothing escaped His knowledge.

And justice doesn’t always come when you expect it.

Sometimes Allah gives justice in this life.
Sometimes He saves it for the Hereafter.
But either way...

Allah is the Most Just.

So don’t let someone’s ظلم consume your heart.
Do what’s right.

Leave what you can’t control to Allah (azwjl). And trust His timing.

What is meant to be judged will never escape Allah’s perfect justice.
