2026-2027 St. Sahag & St. Mesrob Armenian Saturday School classes begin on September 26, 2026. Hours are from 9:30am to 1:30pm.
1) Enrolment for Kindergarten to Grade 8 classes is open online at www.armenianschool.ca

Please go to the Registration pull-down menu, select “Registration form,” scroll down, fill out, and “Submit”. Also, you could fill out and submit the “Pizza Lunch order form”.

2) Credit Courses Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 registrations are open through https://schoolweb.tdsb.on.ca/conedsecondarycreditprogram/Registration
(Registration closes on September 18, 2026 at 10am.)
Credit Courses begin on October 3, 2026. Course hours are from 9:00am to 12:30pm.

Շաբաթ, 20 Յունիս 2026-ին, տեղի ունեցաւ Ս. Սահակ եւ Ս. Մեսրոպ Ազգային Շաբաթօրեայ Վարժարանի 8-րդ կարգի աւարտական հանդէսը։

Արեւմտահայ եւ Արեւելահայ բաժիններէն 31 աշակերտներ ներկայացուցին գեղեցիկ եւ բովանդակալից յայտագիր մը, որ կ՛ընդգրկէր ասմունքներ, ուղերձներ եւ աշակերտներուն կողմէ պատրաստուած տեսերիզ մը։ Տեսերիզը կը ներկայացնէր աւարտականներու դպրոցական առօրեան՝ վերապրեցնելով անոնց յուշերը։

Սրտի խօսքերով հանդէս եկան վարժարանի տնօրէնուհի՝ Դոկտ. Արփի Փանոսեան Մըթարթը, դպրոցի նախկին տնօրէն՝ Տիար Եդուարդ Պալեանը եւ Գանատահայոց Թեմի Փոխառաջնորդ եւ Ս. Երրորդութիւն Հայաստանեայց Առաքելական Եկեղեցւոյ հոգեւոր հովիւ՝ Արժ. Տ. Զարեհ Աւագ Քհնյ. Զարգարեանը։ Անոնք, շնորհաւորելով աշակերտները, փոխանցեցին իրենց բարեմաղթութիւնները եւ ընդգծեցին Շաբաթօրեայ վարժարանին ունեցած կարեւոր դերն ու ներդրումը Սփիւռքի մէջ հայեցի կրթութեան, ազգային ինքնութեան պահպանման եւ գիտակից հայ մարդ պատրաստելու առաքելութեան մէջ։

Այնուհետեւ տեղի ունեցաւ վկայականներու, գնահատագրերու եւ նուէրներու յանձնումը, որմէ ետք աշակերտները արժանացան ներկաներու ջերմ ծափողջոյններուն եւ գնահատանքին։

Կարկանդակի հատումէն ետք, աշակերտները իրենց ուսուցիչներուն եւ ծնողներուն հետ ուղղուեցան Splitsville Bowl, ուր միասին վայելեցին հաճելի պահեր, զուարճացան եւ կերտեցին անմոռանալի յիշատակներ։

On Saturday, June 20, 2026, St. Sahag and St. Mesrob Armenian Saturday School proudly celebrated its Grade 8 Graduation Ceremony, marking an important milestone in the academic and personal journeys of its graduating students.

Thirty-one graduates from the Western Armenian and Eastern Armenian divisions presented a thoughtful and engaging program that featured recitations, student addresses, and a commemorative video produced by the graduates themselves. The video beautifully captured their educational journey, highlighting cherished memories, friendships, and formative experiences accumulated throughout their years at the school.

The audience was addressed by the school’s Principal, Dr. Arpi Panossian Muttart, the former principal of the school Mr. Yetvart Balyan and the Rev. Archpriest Fr. Zareh Zargarian, Vicar of the Armenian Church Diocese of Canada and Parish Priest of Holy Trinity Armenian Apostolic Church. In their heartfelt remarks, they congratulated the graduates on their accomplishments, extended their best wishes for continued success, and emphasized the vital role of The Saturday School in the Diaspora. They underscored the importance of preserving Armenian language, culture, faith, and identity while nurturing future generations of informed, engaged, and committed Armenians.

The ceremony continued with the presentation of diplomas, and commemorative gifts. As each student crossed the stage, they were warmly applauded by family members, teachers, and friends in recognition of their achievements and dedication.

Following the ceremonial cake cutting, the graduates joined their teachers and parents at Splitsville Bowl, where they celebrated together in a joyful and festive atmosphere.

The Grade 8 Graduation Ceremony was a fitting tribute to the accomplishments of the Class of 2026 and a proud reminder of the enduring mission of Armenian education in the Diaspora.

Աշակերտները առիթ ունեցան ծանօթանալ իր հետ եւ լսել իր պատգամը։
Նազիկ Ավդալյանը այցելեց մի քանի դասարաններ, զրուցեց աշակերտների հետ եւ ծանօթացաւ դպրոցի գործունէութեանը։

Yesterday, Nazik Avdalyan, European and World Weightlifting Champion from Armenia, visited our school.
During the morning assembly, the students had the opportunity to meet her and listen to her message addressed to them.
Afterwards, she visited several classrooms, spoke with the students, and became acquainted with the activities of our Saturday School.

Այս շաբաթ օր` Մայիս 23-ին մեր վարժարան պիտի այցելէ ծանրամարտի աշխարհի ախոյեան եւ Եվրոպայի կրկնակի Ախոյեան Նազիկ Ավդալյանը։ Աշակերտները եւ ծնողները առիթ պիտի ունենան իր հետ ծանոթանալու եւ զրուցելու առ․ ժամը 9։00-10։30 ի ընթացքին։

This Saturday, May 23, our school will be visited by world weightlifting champion and two-time European champion Nazik Avdalyan. Students and parents will have the opportunity to meet and speak with her between 9:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.

Շաբաթ, 2 Մայիս 2026-ին, Ս. Սահակ եւ Ս. Մեսրոպ Ազգային Շաբաթօրեայ դպրոցի աշակերտները իրենց սրտաբուխ նուիրատուութիւնները կատարեցին, ցոյց տալով իրենց սէրն ու պատասխանատութեան զգացումը դպրոցին նկատմամբ։

Ներկայացուեցան նաեւ՝ աշակերտներուն կողմէ պատրաստուած դասարանային աշխատանքներու օրինակներ, որոնք զարդարեցին դպրոցի միջանցքը։

Մեր աշակերտները մեծ ոգեւորութեամբ կը պատրաստուին իրենց շատ սպասուած տարեվերջի համերգին։
Անհամբեր կը սպասենք ձեզ բոլորդ տեսնելու հոն եւ վստահ ենք, որ այս մէկը եւս պիտի ըլլայ յիշարժան ու ոգեշնչող օր մը բոլոր ներկայներուն համար։
