Welcome Day at SMC warmly welcomes newly admitted students, including commuters, to explore the campus 🏫, meet upper-year students and staff 👋, and receive vital information on course selection 📚, fees 💸, financial aid 💰, and student services 🛠️. Commuter students will particularly benefit from insights into campus resources, residence life 🏠, the Writing Centre ✍️, the Library 📖, and guided SMC campus tours 🚶, ensuring they feel connected and well-prepared for their university journey 🌟.

Calling all commuters to start the year off strong by attending our welcome week events! Details below!
Join is on sept 12th in room BR115A, Brennan Hall to celebrate the fall 2023 opening of the commuter lounge! Watch some shows, munch some snacks and chat with us and fellow commuters!
We will also have a table at St. Mike's Clubs fair (Elmsley Pl) sept 13th, so drop by to learn how you can get involved, ask any questions you have or just to say hi!
Thursday sept 14th we will be hosting a picnic in the Quad! It is BYOL (bring your own lunch!). We will have mats and games and a lovely time :).

The Commuter Buddy System is an initiative launched by the Commuter Coordinators at St. Mike's! By joining the program, you'll be able to commute home with other Orientees and Orientation staff after Orientation programming ends. You will be put in touch with orientation staff that will lead you on your commute home, after the end of Orientation programming for the day. Link to register below!
