Is there a connection between chess and math? At EM-LCS, we believe there is.
Atharv Sandeep from California was ranked 9th in the USA in the Math Kangaroo competition, which had over 6 million participants worldwide.
He recently started chess training with our instructor Shiva and joined EM-LCS. Last week, he won his first chess tournament. Earlier in March, in his very first tournament, he won 2nd place.
To congratulate him on his win, Atharv received a special personalized chess clock from Shiva.
