(CSPIS) is focused on providing career training and support for students interested in employment within the law enforcement industry. Courses include private investigation, security protection services, police foundations and law. CSPIS offers courses approved by Ontario's Ministry of Advanced Education and Skills Development leading to a post-secondary diploma as a Private Investigator, Security Protection Practitioner, Court Agent, or as a graduate of Police Foundations training. The school also offers concentrated, fast-track training for those interested in securing a license in private investigation or security guard services. These fast-track courses meet training requirements mandated by Ontario's Ministry of Community Safety and Correctional Services. After course completion, participants are eligible to challenge Ontario's examination requirements for either private investigator or security guard licensing. To date, participants of these license preparation courses have achieved a 96% pass rate for private investigator licensing, and a 94% pass rate for security licensing. Founded in 1980 by Carl Franco, former police detective and leading Canadian private investigator, CSPIS was Canada's first private career college focusing exclusively on investigation security studies. Located on Dufferin Street in north-central Toronto, the school boasts a full complement of state-of-the-art classrooms, student labs and student support services.
