Christianity in China Two-Part Lecture Series

Place: A Quiet Place (455 Spadina Street, College and Spadina)
Speaker: Dr.See Kiat Toh

Introduction: Dr. See Kiat Toh will give a two-part lecture on the history of Christianity in China. Dr.Toh will address questions such as: When did Christianity first enter China? Did Chinese people, society, and culture benefit or suffer from Christianity's introduction and impact? What are the positive and negative lessons we can draw from this history for China a country and for ourselves as people? Christianity in China Two-Part Lecture Series

Dr.Toh has degrees in law from the university of London and in theological studies from Tyndale Seminary in Toronto. He was raised in a traditional Chinese Buddhist family, loves history,m and has been a Christian for 42 years(since21). He has most recently served as a pastor in Toronto, ministering to international students and scholars.

Note: The lectures will be followed with a light dinner. You are welcomed to mingle with each other at this "quiet" and "cozy" place?
