The Nursing Students of Ontario (NSO), is the student arm of the Registered Nurses’ Association of Ontario (RNAO).

As a student-governed interest group of the RNAO, we represent and act as a resource for Ontario's nursing students. Our focus is on the needs, concerns and matters of the nursing student body.

You’re invited to our 2026 NSO AGM, held in conjunction with the Annual General Meeting. The NSO AGM is where you’ll get the chance to meet the NSO Executive, know what the NSO does, and meet the new executive! We’ll be highlighting some of our work, goals, and host a Q&A where our members will get the chance to ask questions that pertain to student members and how NSO represents Ontario nursing students at the provincial level! We encourage all student (and non-student) members to join us, ask questions and even see how YOU can get involved with the NSO!

We are looking for nominations for our Social Media ENO position! The first second nomination period closes on April 17th.

🏛️ QUEEN’S PARK DAY 🏛️

The deadline is fast approaching! RNAO invites its undergraduate nursing students to participate in the Board of Directors’ Student Placement taking place from Feb. 25-28, 2026. This placement offers nursing students an opportunity to learn about and gain first-hand insight into RNAO, its initiatives and the issues that have an impact on nursing, health and health care.

Students must be able to attend all mandatory placement sessions in-person. Registration closes February 2nd.
