Shaday Charles is a 2022 Retail Management Graduate with a Marketing minor. Three
months before graduation, she landed her first post-grad role as Private Brands Category
Specialist for Circle K Canada. Shaday is currently the Category Specialist and supports the Canadian private label portfolio commercialization process.

Sebrina Bender
Merchandise Coordinator
Indigo

After completing her diploma in fashion management at George Brown College (GBC), Sebrina realized her passion for retail and business, which led to her Bachelor of Commerce at TMU. Sebrina was hired by the RSA as a marketing associate, and later promoted as RSA’s President. Sebrina is now Indigo’s Merchandise Coordinator where she supports the buying team for the Wellness category and is pursuing a retail buying career.

Adriana Martinez
Digital Marketing Coordinator
Rexall

Adriana graduated in 2021 from TMU’s Retail Management program with a minor in E-commerce. Being an RSA’s Executive Vice President helped her grow as a student and person and likewise, her most recent position as a Rexall Pharmacies’s Digital Marketing Coordinator allows her to continue to develop her skill set in this field.

Retail Management Alumni, Social Media Partnerships at Clearco, Former Media Manager at Bumble, Partnerships Ambassador at DMZ and Co-Founder at Renouv.
He currently works at RBC Ventures/Owner of Partnerships. He is working with business and affiliate partners to build awareness to help entrepreneurs start their businesses.

Suzanne Lem
Account Executive

Suzanna graduated in 2020 from TMU’s Bcomm Degree in Retail Management and obtained Humber College’s postgraduate certificate in Public Relations. Suzanna is currently Viral Nation’s Account Executive which specializes in planning and executing talent and B2B campaigns. She has worked with notable clients and creators including WINNERS, Marshalls, HomeSense,Garnier USA, Noah Beck, Hailie Jade and Tayler Holder.

Introducing the workshop of Retail X 2022: Retail Redefined is Mental Health Workshop. Hosted by Madiha Sajid, Madiha is an advocate for mental health, gender equality, women's empowerment and human rights. She has worked in several sectors, from sales to nonprofit. Inspired by her lived and professional experiences, she leads Madiha Foundation dedicated to those issues and improving people's wellbeing.
