The Forest of Reading is dedicated to creating meaningful experiences that get more people reading for fun.

We know that kids who read for fun have higher literacy scores. Not only that, but for learners of all ages, literacy opens doors to greater participation, connection, and opportunity.

Everyone deserves the chance to develop the skills they need to read, learn, communicate, and shape their future.

Literacy is so much more than reading and writing. It helps us understand and be understood, communicate with confidence, think critically, participate in our communities, and make informed decisions about our lives.
