Make choices based on your understanding of the Character and the Situation they are in. Remember to research- the more you understand- the more confident and grounded you will be.
Be specific- take a look at the 5 ws- who, where, what, why, when- and answer specifically- you can never go to far with this!
Technique can help you land the opening moments of a scene. Then you will often find you are just completely engaged in listening and responding- which is the essence of great naturalistic acting. 2 essentials are The Moment Before and arriving in a focused state.
