Dear ALPHA Families,
It’s that time of year when we come together to support our school community through the ALPHA *Envelope Campaign*, one of our biggest fundraisers of the year!

What is the Envelope Campaign?
The Envelope Campaign is an annual fundraising initiative that invites families, friends, and extended community members to contribute to ALPHA’s Registered Charity. Donations directly support a wide range of student-centered initiatives such as funding the an annual camping trip, welcoming, special guest visitors, enhancing the classroom, creating an equitable and enriching experience for all of our student students.
This year, our recently approved budget requires us to raise at least $7,000 through the Envelope Campaign - we have just over $3,000 raised so far.

BIG thank you to our Alpha Jr community for an incredibly successful winter wonderfair fundraise for the school.

To the crafters, bakers, greeting-card makers… To all those that donated their time, products, services and wallets… To the set-up crew, tear-down crew, dishwashers, chair stackers…

Days like today are successful only because we all come together to make it happen.

A special shout-out to the incredible parent cooks, who made sure we had such amazing food. Because of these three, 100 people were fed today, and we am so grateful.

Another huge thank-you to our amazing school staff who showed up today—just as they do every day—to help make Alpha the wonderful place it is.

And finally to every one of the friends, family, alumni, new community members who attended the day and supported our school.

Let’s bring this same energy to our Open House on December 11th!

We’re thrilled to invite you to this year’s Wonderfair Fundraiser on Saturday Nov 29th! The event will be at the school with doors open for the public from 11am-3pm. This cherished event brings our community together to celebrate, create, and raise funds for the school. Please join us and share with friends and family! ❄️

At ALPHA, decisions are made together. Community Meetings are our democratic backbone, a space where families, staff, and volunteers help shape our kids’ learning environment.

Everyone shares responsibility for keeping Community Meetings and Committees running smoothly. When parents take part and offer their perspective, it strengthens the whole community.
