🎞 BAICC 2026 — Quedan dos semanas para presentar tu candidatura

Si eres cineasta y trabajas en formato analógico, todavía estás a tiempo. El plazo de la convocatoria BAICC 2026 cierra el próximo 28 de junio.

Acción Cultural Española (AC/E), la Mostra Internacional de Cinema Periférico (S8) y el Liaison of Independent Filmmakers of Toronto (LIFT) ofrecen una residencia de producción cinematográfica analógica de 4 a 6 semanas en Toronto (septiembre-octubre de 2026), con estreno mundial de la obra resultante en la Mostra S8 de A Coruña en junio de 2027.

La residencia incluye viaje de ida y vuelta, 400 € semanales para manutención, 800 € para película y laboratorio, acceso completo a las instalaciones de LIFT (valorado en hasta 2.000 €) y seguro médico.

Pueden optar personas nacidas o residentes en España con trayectoria artística acreditada y nivel de inglés.

LIFT announces Open Screening - June 2026

Join the Liaison of Independent Filmmakers of Toronto (LIFT) on Friday, June 26, 2026 in the Main Classroom at the LIFT facility (located at 1137 Dupont) for our June 2026 Open Screening.

The event is an opportunity to show new films, audiovisual experiments, found footage and works-in-progress. There is no submission process as films will not be curated. The event is first come, first screened. We will accept up to 90 minutes of work.

Screening starts at 7:00pm

Admission:
Pay-What-You-Can (PWYC) with suggested donation of $5.00
Cash accepted at the door.
