This new sister business to Turning Point Learning has been my Covid passion project!

The past year of online learning gave us parents a firsthand look at our child’s education and in some cases, led to concerns. I wanted to create a resource that pulls all of my training and experience in education into one place.

I love the word ‘loop’ because education is not linear and we all learn in our own unique way and in our own time. I will complete the school - student - parent ‘loop’ with a customized plan for your child and family.

Whether you are looking for a post-pandemic reading catch-up plan, parent & child learning programs or support with a formal diagnosis in language or ADHD, I will work with you to create a strength-based plan to support your child and family.

That's right! There are 3 parts to every word:

✅ What a word looks like when you see it (spelling) 👀
✅ What is sounds like when you say it (how to pronounce it) 👂
✅ What it means (definition)

Yet, for 60% of written language, there is no pictorial meaning!!! 🤯

This is at the root cause of confusion for dyslexic readers...and it is easier than you think to fix! 👍

See, despite those abstract words making up 60% of any given paragraph, they only represent about 200 or so words...they are just repeated many, many times throughout text. 👀

By focusing on mastering (and creating a picture for) those specific abstract words (sight words), we can eliminate the vast majority of word confusion!
