As we come to the end of the first week of school, I wanted to share some insights. There are far too many children that give up easily. This is a marker that they are not resilient. Your child will not achieve their full potential if they are not resilient - they will give up when things get hard, when a friend says no, when they don't like an adult they are working with or just because they don't get their way.

Families have a key role to play in ensuring children are resilient. You also have to ask yourself if your child is learning these behaviours from you ...... children live what they learn so model resilience. The visual shows some key markers of a resilient child. Encourage your child at home to develop these skills.

Yes!! Even if it means taking baby steps ….. forward is the only option.
