This week, Campers had a special visit from a local fire truck and learned all about fire safety. They learned that firefighters are there to help and keep us safe, what to do if their clothes ever catch fire with Stop, Drop and Roll, and the importance of checking smoke detectors at home.

They even got to sit inside the fire truck and see how a firefighter gets dressed in their safety gear! Thanks for joining us Toronto Fire Services! 🚒

Next stop: the past! 🚋🔥

As part of Time Travellers Week, our campers visited the Street Car Museum and rode historic streetcars. They explored vintage cars, saw original seating and controls, learned how people travelled back then, and even got hands-on ringing bells and checking out the driver’s area.

A big thank you to Halton County Radial Railway for helping our campers step back in time and experience history in such a fun and memorable way!

Bentastic Magic brought the wonder to camp this week with an unforgettable show full of surprises, laughter, and interactive fun. Our campers were amazed from start to finish and loved being part of the magic. 🪄

What a way to wrap up our July camp adventures!

For our final trip of the month, we spent the day exploring the ROM, where curiosity came to life around every corner. We marveled at towering dinosaur skeletons, sparkling gems, fascinating animals, and exhibits that took us through history and cultures from around the world. We also had a blast exploring the children's discovery zones, where learning and play went hand in hand.

It was the perfect ending to an unforgettable month of exploring, discovering, and making memories together. Thank you to all of our amazing campers for making July so much fun. We can't wait to see what our August adventures have in store!

We had such a great time welcoming Generations Performing Arts Centre for a special Medieval Week workshop with our campers. They brought so much energy, creativity, and fun, making it an unforgettable experience for everyone. Thank you for sharing your talents with us,we loved having you!

Last week at the Kortright Centre we enjoyed participating in the All About Insects program. We spent time exploring the world of insects, learning about their role in nature, and discovering just how important these tiny creatures are to our environment.

What a beautiful park with so much to do and so much to see.

We had a foamtastic time with Presswood Entertainment yesterday. Our campers made a splash, laughed nonstop, and had a blast. Thanks for helping us make such unforgettable summer memories.

Learning happens everywhere at camp! From exploring High Park to crafting outdoors, journaling our experience and making math fun through hands on actinvites, everyday is filled with curiosity, creativity and adventure!

Young Chefs Week was a success!

Extra indoor days gave us the perfect opportunity to spend even more time in the kitchen, where our campers mixed, chopped, baked, and cooked their way through an exciting week of culinary creations.

From fruit scenes, rainbow popcorn, and fruit gummies to wonton soup, pizza, nachos, lasagna, puff puff and so much more, our young chefs had the chance to explore new recipes, build kitchen skills and enjoy plenty of tasty treats along the way.
