The Department of Applied Psychology & Human Development (APHD) at OISE, U of T is a research-intensive department dedicated to improving people's lives through education and improved knowledge about the human experience. The Department of Applied Psychology & Human Development (APHD) at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education (OISE) at the University of Toronto (U of T) is a world-renowned, research-intensive department that's devoted to improving people's quality of life throughout the lifespan. Faculty members' research interests are diverse, ranging from improving the literacy outcomes of English Language Learners (ELLs) to investigating the effects of trauma on child development and pondering the various intricacies of human sexuality. These facilities help broaden APHD students' knowledge while providing services to the larger community.
