Here’s a thought: A billionaire didn’t build your roads, grow your food, or teach your kids. Yet somehow, these same billionaires have ended up with the lion’s share of the world’s wealth. It’s frustrating when you realize that the people who truly keep society running—the ones building, farming, teaching—often get the short end of the stick.
Billionaires, while certainly deserving of compensation for their work, didn’t singlehandedly create the infrastructure we depend on every day. It’s the workers—teachers, nurses, farmers—who keep the gears of society turning. Maybe it’s time we stop treating these corporate giants as the heroes of our world.
We need a shift in how we value people. It’s high time we start recognizing the true contributions of the individuals who don’t see their names in the headlines but are essential to everything we do. Let’s stop worshipping the ones who contribute the least and start celebrating those who do the most. 💸👀
