✨What is the deeper purpose of fasting?✨

Fasting is more than abstaining from food and drink. It is a spiritual act that strengthens our closeness to Allah and reminds us of the special relationship between the Creator and the human being.

In this podcast, Ustaz reflect on how Allah created human beings and entrusted them with a profound responsibility — the Amanah mentioned in the Quran. While the heavens, the earth, and the mountains declined to bear this trust, the human being accepted it. This acceptance reflects the unique capacity of humans to know, love, and consciously choose devotion to Allah.

Fasting becomes one of the ways we demonstrate that love and commitment. By willingly restraining our desires for the sake of Allah, we renew our dedication to the trust we accepted and deepen our connection with Him.

O Allah, make this Ramadhan a month of transformation, where learning leads to reflection, reflection leads to growth, and growth leads to closeness to You. Accept our fasting, our efforts, our study, and our striving.
