Children's Garden School (CGS)

Children's Garden School (CGS) CGS - your neighbourhood junior preparatory school for Pre-K through Grade 4, since 1986.

Children's Garden School has been providing outstanding Preschool to Grade 3 programming in Leaside for 25 years. Our students are known for their excellent academic skills, poise and character. CGS graduates are among the most highly regarded applicants to the top private schools in Toronto. Alternatively, CGS is here to give your child a solid foundation before they join the public system. To help our students reach their full potential CGS programming is enriched and tailored to each student's needs. We keep our class sizes small to ensure that your child receives the attention they need to succeed in all areas of the curriculum, whether it is in the classroom, on the stage or on the field.

We’re looking forward to another week of curious exploration and continued academic growth.

Last week our upper grades began the first component of our Fitness program with Week 1 of ice skating at Leaside Memorial Community Gardens while our JKs began Week 1 of outdoor education. Their plan is to head outdoors regularly each week to take their learning beyond the classroom.

Here’s to another incredible week ahead.
