Do you ever get so excited about an idea or new concept that you rush to go all in?
Whether it’s a new diet, change in parenting style or just your lifestyle in general, when you rush in does it ever seem to stick?
I am a high quick-start, according to my Kolbe assessment results.
I have a natural tendency to go from 0 to 100 as fast as possible. To jump into the next new thing right away.
This has its advantages.
When I feel the pull of a new idea, I tend to get started right away.
I rarely procrastinate.
But this tendency can also create jarring changes in life that are difficult to navigate.
We don’t need to do this to ourselves.
Life is not a snowglobe that needs to be shaken so the snow swirls around.
We get to make little changes.
Micro shifts.
Small adjustments in our mindset, emotional wellbeing and action steps lead to big results.
Try it out and notice how good you feel.
These little changes will lead to long-term growth and change that is SUSTAINABLE.
