Start Writing

Creative writing workshops in Toronto for writers of all levels. Writing isn't hard. My name's David. Hi! I currently offer three workshops.

It's the pressure we put on ourselves as writers that can make writing seem impossible. Using the Amherst Writers & Artists method, Start Writing offers writers a safe and pressure-free environment to reach their goals. Or, if you don't have specific goals, to hang out with like-minded spirits and have an awful lot of fun. I am an affiliate of the Amherst Writers & Artists (AWA) group and have been running workshops with their method for the last two years in Toronto. As of 2011 I've moved all workshops to a great brick & beam boardroom in the College & Bathurst area. Great coffee options abound.

Greetings fellow writers – there are no workshops or events scheduled for the foreseeable future. Maybe ever. If things change I will post here and bring StartWriting.ca back online.
